Colin Bryant's Hot Rhythm Jazz Band
The Small Band with the Big Band sound
Colin Bryant's Hot Rhythm are recognised as one of the finest
and most professional Jazz and Swing Bands playing on the music
scene today. The Band specialises in Jazz and Swing Music of the
Roaring 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.
The six top class instrumentalists are led by virtuoso clarinettist
Colin Bryant who doubles on Saxophone and comperes the Band's musical
programme. Hot Rhythm's line-up includes Saxophone/Clarinet, Trumpet/Vocals,
Trombone/Vocals, String Bass, Banjo/Guitar/Vocals and Drummer/Percussionist.
Colin and the Band are equally at home playing for dancing, presenting
a show or concert programme, or providing incidental music. Their
repertoire includes tunes and compositions made famous by such greats
as Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton,
The Original Dixieland Jazz Band, Glenn Miller and many more. A
special feature of the band is a swing set from the Glenn Miller
era.
Hot Rhythm are well known for their immaculate stage dress and
presentation.
