David Vardanov is a singer of extraordinary emotional depth, performance talent, wide vocal range and great stylistic diversity. His natural voice is tenor, but he also sings as counter-tenor and baritone. With background in classical vocal, he embraces many other styles: pop/classics, musical, pop, jazz, and likes mixing them in some extraordinary and modern ways. He also writes his own music. David’s performances are very moving, distinct by high emotional intensity and candidness. 

Born in 1990 in Georgia, David spent most of his formative years in Armenia. He started signing at an early age, becoming a soloist of the famous children’s choir “Little Singers of Armenia”. Together with the choir he sang at numerous prestigious competitions and events in France, Canada, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and other countries. In parallel, David has done 7 years of formal music study at a specialized music school, majoring in piano and vocal, and later, in 2015, graduated from Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan in Armenia as lyrico-dramatic tenor and counter-tenor.

Over 2011-13 David was a soloist singer at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia, and in parallel had several solo concerts, among others in Armenian State Philharmonic Hall and Big Culture House in St. Petersburg, Russia. At that time David gets lots of invitations to international competitions. In 2010 he received an invitation to represent Armenia in “Baltic Super Star” international concert, where he became a prizewinner. Upon return he participated in Arno Babajanyan’s international competition, where he also won a prize. 

In 2014 David moved to Vienna, seeking to advance his career in Europe and internationally. Since then, he released several songs for his first album. He also actively participates in diverse European TV shows, like Supertalent in Germany (2016) and X-Factor in Hungary (2017), appearing numerous times on TV. The success at these shows brought many fans to David, which encouraged him to actively engage with the public through online channels. He often releases covers of famous songs and publishes his own pieces on Internet. 

The great feedback from the public and encouragement from fans is a big source of inspiration for David. He is very keen to share his dreamy and fairy world with everyone, to help people feel the beauty of music and of this world.
