Classical pianist performing in recitals with a wide range of music genres from classical, romantic, impressionist, opera, ballet, modern, ragtime and jazz. Included are stories about pieces, composers, incidents about musicians and happenings backstage.
Made debut at 11 as soloist with Boston Symphony. Featured pianist of the New England Conservatory Ragtime Ensemble in the Angel/EMI recording of "Scott Joplin: The Red Back Book" which won a Grammy for "Best Classical Chamber Music". Was touring piano soloist with Arthur Fiedler from 1973 to his death in 1979. worked with Seiji Ozawa, Kurt Mazur, Gunther Schuller and John Williams.
